Rendon is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon has a .749 OPS and three home runs through 22 games in May and will take a seat Friday for the second time in the past four contests. Tyler Wade will man the hot corner while Luis Rengifo is starting at second base.
