Scull hadn't played since June 24 due to the injury. After receiving a promotion from High-A Tri-City on June 9, Scull had gotten off to a slow start at Rocket City prior to getting hurt, slashing just .220/.238/.293 with a 1:12 BB:K in 12 games.
