The Angels signed Walton to a minor-league contract Dec. 12.
Walton has put together a lowly .172/.223/.298 batting line across parts of six big-league seasons, though he's never gotten an extended look over that time. That's unlikely to change in 2026, but he will give the Angels some depth and defensive versatility.
