Ramirez (5-3) held the Marlins to one run (zero earned) on seven hits over seven innings Saturday. He walked one and struck out three in a 5-2 win.
The 28-year-old has settled in nicely as a starter, posting a 3.20 ERA in nine starts. The former reliever isn't striking out a ton of batters (6.9 K/9), but he has exhibited enough control (2.1 BB/9) to enter the conversation as a reliable starter in almost any format. Ramirez will take on the Twins next Thursday in what should be a favorable matchup.
