Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun (calf) was not in the starting lineup Monday for the second straight game but did record a pinch-hit RBI single in the ninth inning before being removed for a pinch runner.
Calhoun provided the team an insurance run that ended up not being needed, as the Angels took him a 6-3 victory over the Rangers. He said before Monday's game that he expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday.
