Moniak is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Moniak returned to the lineup Sunday after missing a couple days due to an elbow injury, but he'll sit Tuesday as lefty Brant Hurter takes the mound for Detroit. Kevin Pillar will start in center field and bat cleanup.
