The Angels designated Baumann for assignment Friday.
The right-hander was designated for assignment by the Giants on July 27 but was shipped to the Halos shortly after, only to get DFA'ed again. Baumann appeared in 10 games (9.1 innings) with Los Angeles, posting a 6.75 ERA and a 7:4 K:BB. Assuming he clears waivers, Baumann is expected to remain in the Angels' organization.
