The Angels promoted Farris from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
Farris will make his way back to the big-league club, where he has appeared in 26 games this season. Over 47.1 innings, the 25-year-old owns a 1-3 record, 4.18 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 49:23 K:BB. Los Angeles placed George Klassen (back) on the IL to make room for Farris on the active roster.
