Bridwell was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Bridwell fired 3.2 innings in Wednesday's win against the Yankees, so he'll head to the minors likely until he's available to pitch again. The fresh arm replacing him in the Angels' bullpen will be Daniel Wright, who was recalled from Salt Lake in a corresponding move.
