Anderson allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and two walks while striking out seven batters over five innings in a no-decision against Texas on Saturday.
Anderson wasn't very efficient in the outing, needing 92 pitches to get through five frames and throwing just 58 of those offerings for strikes. However, he managed to carry a no-hitter into the fifth inning and allowed just four baserunners overall (on two walks, a double and a fielding error). Anderson also racked up an impressive 17 whiffs en route to seven punchouts. The left-hander has recorded a 3.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 132:67 K:BB through 167.1 innings on the season.
