Despite giving up just one earned run in Monday's start against the Orioles, Athletics pitcher Sonny Gray was on the losing end of the 4-2 game.
Gray allowed four runs (one earned) on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings of work. He also struck out five and walked two.
Gray was scratched from his previous start due to back spasms. He has earned a quality start in four of his last outings.
