Astros first baseman Chris Carter left Friday's game in the second inning after injuring his ankle on a play at first base. Jon Singleton came in to replace him following the injury.
Carter was attempting to catch a poor throw from Jose Altuve, and injured the ankle on the play. The Astros have classified the injury as a right ankle sprain, and his availability for Saturday's game is in question.
