Morton will start the Astros' third game of the season against the Mariners, the Houston Chronicle's Jake Kaplan reports.
He will take the ball April 5, after Lance McCullers and before Joe Musgrove in the competitive Astros rotation. Morton has really impressed this spring, sporting a 1.04 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings.
