Keuchel (12-3) allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five batters through 7.2 innings during Monday's win over Seattle.

After three strong outings (three earned runs allowed over 20.2 innings), Keuchel was hammered by the Rangers last time out, so it was reassuring to see the lefty pitch well Monday. With the Astros pushing for the best record in the American League and beefing up their roster for the stretch drive, Keuchel is positioned to finish 2017 strong. He takes a 2.88 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 into his next start against the Athletics at Oakland Coliseum.
