Keuchel (9-0) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six scoreless innings in Friday's 7-1 win over Texas.

Keuchel was unfazed by a rain delay and breezed through five innings before running into a spot of bother in the sixth. With Houston up, 3-0, the left-hander allowed a couple of singles and a walk to load the bases, but snuffed out the threat when he got Rougned Odor on a harmless groundout to first. Keuchel, who lowered his ERA to 1.67, became the first Astros pitcher to start a season 9-0 since Roger Clemens in 2004. His next turn on the bump comes Wednesday at Kansas City.
