The Astros selected Reifert's contract from Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.
Reifert was acquired from the Rays in a trade this past weekend and is now a member of the Astros' 40-man roster. He logged a 2.48 ERA and 81:34 K:BB over 58 frames this season with Triple-A Durham. Reifert has yet to make his major-league debut but is a good bet to do so next season with the Astros.
