Stubbs was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Stubbs has bounced between the minors and majors throughout 2021 and will return to the Astros again Monday. The 28-year-old has 24 plate appearances in eight games and is unlikely to see much action with Martin Maldonado and Jason Castro healthy.
