Musgrove (1-1) went 5.1 innings and allowed eight runs on 11 hits while walking one and striking out two during Thursday's loss to the Orioles.
Musgrove started his major league career by allowing just three earned runs with 21 strikeouts in 18.1 innings. His start on Thursday was a different story. He gave up three home runs in just over five innings, but his poor outing could just be a rare blemish, as his strikeout and walk numbers are very strong, and his track record in the minors is eye-opening.
