Musgrove was promoted to Triple-A Fresno on Thursday, the Houston Chronicle reports.
As promised earlier in the week, Musgrove will move up a level after posting a 0.34 ERA and 30:3 K:BB over 26.2 innings for Double-A Corpus Christi. His progress through the minors was slow at first, but he's come on strong the past three years, potentially setting him up to join the Astros before the end of 2016. The 23-year-old will presumably continue to develop as a starter.
