Garcia (elbow) is expected to throw a live batting practice session within the next week, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Garcia has thrown at least three bullpen sessions since May 24, most recently throwing 25 pitches. Live batting practice will be a significant milestone in his recovery as he continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery.
