Mushinski was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

He's clearing out to make room for waiver claim Miguel Diaz. Mushinski has allowed four runs (two earned) over 1.1 innings with the Astros this season.
