The Astros selected Munoz's contract from Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.
Munoz was dropped from the Astros' 40-man roster shortly after Opening Day after he was knocked around for seven runs in four innings. However, he's earned his way back onto the roster after posting a 3.06 ERA and 76:21 K:BB over 53 innings at Sugar Land.
