Arrighetti will make his next start Monday against the Guardians in Cleveland, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Arrighetti was unable to win a spot in the Astros' Opening Day rotation, but after injuries hit the pitching staff hard over the past couple of weeks, he was summoned from Triple-A Sugar Land last Wednesday. He proceeded to turn in a gem in his 2026 debut for Houston, punching out 10 batters over six innings of one-run ball in a win over Colorado. With Hunter Brown (shoulder), Tatsuya Imai (arm), Cristian Javier (shoulder) and Cody Bolton (back) all stuck on the 15-day injured list, Arrighetti should be set for an extended run in the big-league rotation until Houston reclaims some health.
