Astros shortstop Carlos Correa came through in the clutch once again. The 20-year-old rookie went 2 for 4 on Thursday, including a go-ahead two-run home run in the eventual 5-4 extra-innings win over the A's.
Correa's home run--his 14th in just 51 games this season--came in the eighth inning with his club trailing 2-1. The two-run blast gave the Astros a 3-2 lead and instantly changed the landscape of the game.
Correa is batting .300 (12 for 40) with six home runs over his past 10 games.
