Gurriel went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI in Friday's 12-3 win over the Mariners.

Gurriel ended a brutal 1-for-24 drought since he returned from the injured list last weekend with a solo shot in the third inning to put the Astros up 7-0. The 37-year-old later plated another run in the fourth to extend the lead to 9-1. Gurriel's power certainly isn't the same from when he swatted 31 homers in 2019, but he's been hitting the ball as well as ever this season, slashing .311/.377/.473 with 13 homers, 68 RBI, 58 runs scored, a steal and 44:47 BB:K over 448 plate appearances.
