Andrus is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale versus the Tigers.
Andrus returned to the lineup Wednesday after missing the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader with a shin injury, going 2-for-3 with a walk and run scored. He'll get a rest day Thursday and in his absence, Kevin Smith will draw the start at shortstop and bat seventh.
