Lopez allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out nine over the span of five innings in the 3-2 loss to the Reds on Wednesday.
After serving as an option in the bullpen for a brief time in late May and early July, Lopez has been back in the rotation for his last four starts. Lopez has pitched 19.2 innings with a 2.29 ERA and 0.97 WHIP for a 1-1 record. The lefty is projected to take the mound next week against the Rays.
