Wendle (shoulder) is playing catch and taking regular BP, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports.
Wendle has been battling an undisclosed shoulder issue for most of March, and the A's are easing him back into things. He resumed throwing last Thursday and progressed to batting practice Monday. The progress Wendle is showing is promising, but the A's won't rush the 26-year-old back; he's expected to start the year at Triple-A.
