Sears (10-8) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks with four strikeouts over seven innings.

Sears completed seven innings for the third consecutive outing and was even pushed into the eighth, but he walked two batters without recording an out in the frame. The southpaw has gone 6-1 since the calendar flipped to July, allowing three or fewer earned runs in each of the victories. On the season, he owns a 4.32 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 101:37 K:BB across 133.1 innings and lines up for a home matchup with the Giants next week.
