Muncy will start at designated hitter and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Astros.
Muncy will stick in the lineup for a sixth straight game after going 3-for-15 with a home run, three walks, three runs and three RBI over the prior five contests. Though he looks to have taken hold of a regular spot in the starting nine after Tyler Soderstrom (hip) recently went down with a season-ending injury, Muncy could begin to find himself on the bench more frequently once the Athletics get Denzel Clarke (hamstring) or Joshua Kuroda-Grauer (testicle) back from the injured list.
