Kozma's contract was selected by the Athletics on Friday.
Kozma gives Oakland added infield depth for the final series of the season with Vimael Machin (illness) hitting the injured list. The 33-year-old owns an unimpressive .215/.278/.291 career slash line over parts of seven major-league seasons, the last of which came back in 2018.
