Gray (forearm) threw just a single inning despite making the start in his return from the DL on Wednesday, striking out a batter while allowing one hit and no runs.
Gray wasn't expected to do more than this, so there's no reinjury concern. It's nice to see him back on a big league mound now; that should raise his stock a little for 2017 even though he struggled through this year. Gray finishes the season with a 5.69 ERA and 1.50 WHIP accompanied by a 95:42 K:BB in 118 innings.
