Gray (back) threw 35 pitches in a bullpen session Friday, 10 with Mark Canha standing in the box, and he was able to throw all of his pitches, the East Bay Times' John Hickey reports.
This was the second time in four days that he threw a bullpen session and felt great afterward, so it sounds like a rehab assignment could be right around the corner. It will be decided in the next couple of days what the next step will be.
