Fisher will operate as the Blue Jays' opening pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Tuesday will mark the 10th time this season that Fisher has been asked to work out of the opener role, with his last opportunity against the Athletics last Wednesday, when he fired a scoreless frame and struck out one. He'll presumably work the first inning before turning the game over to the bullpen.
