Toronto optioned Van Eyk to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.
After making just one appearance during his time with the big-league club, Van Eyk will make his way back to Triple-A. The 27-year-old pitched two scoreless innings in his big-league debut July 17, allowing just one hit and one hit batsman, while striking out one batter as well. Toronto recalled Brendon Little to take Van Eyk's spot on the active roster.
