Jansen was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a strained right hamstring, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Jansen picked up the hamstring injury during Wednesday's matchup with the Red Sox and is expected to face a significant absence, per Mitch Bannon of SI.com. Alejandro Kirk was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.
