Blue Jays' George Springer: June rebound continues

Springer went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's loss to the Cubs.

The veteran slugger provided the only offense for the Blue Jays in a 16-2 rout, bring home Andres Gimenez with a third-inning single before launching a solo shot off Ben Brown in the sixth. Springer has eight homers on the year, and three of them have come in the last seven games, a stretch in which he's batting .360 (9-for-25) with a double, three steals, five runs and seven RBI.
