Springer (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
Springer will miss out on a second straight start while he tends to a tight left shoulder. The 36-year-old was able to make an appearance off the bench as a pinch runner in Saturday's 7-5 win in 11 innings, so at this stage, Springer doesn't look like he'll be at major risk of landing on the injured list.
