The Braves recalled Jackson from their alternate training site Wednesday.

Both of the Braves' top catchers (Tyler Flowers and Travis d'Arnaud) are believed to be healthy, so expect Jackson to see limited action as a No. 3 backstop while he's up with the big club. Teams will have to reduce their active rosters from 30 to 28 men Friday, so Jackson will likely be a prime candidate to get optioned to the Braves' alternative training site at that time.
