Atlanta signed Gamel to a minor-league contract Friday, Aram Leighton of JustBaseball.com reports.
Gamel spent all of the 2025 season in the minors between the Tigers and Angels organizations. The 33-year-old has a career .252/.334/.382 slash line over parts of nine major-league seasons and will provide Atlanta with some experienced outfield depth at Triple-A Gwinnett.
