Culberson cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old was designated for assignment Monday but will remain in the organization after he passed through waivers unclaimed. Culberson has played in just one big-league game this year and has a .489 OPS in 24 contests at Triple-A.
