Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has officially been activated from the 15-day disabled list, and is in Wednesday's starting lineup against the Padres. Freeman has been out since early August with an oblique strain.
Freeman has played in just 76 games this season, as he also missed time earlier this year with a wrist injury.
He is batting third against the Padres on Wednesday.
