Freeman went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Marlins.
The first baseman took Anthony Bass deep in the eighth inning to bring Atlanta within a run, but it was the only offense the team could manage. Freeman has gone yard twice in the last three games, bringing him up to 15 homers and 35 RBI through 61 games, but his .237 batting average remains well below expectations.
