Holmes allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus Miami on Saturday.
Holmes was unable to replicate his previous outing in which he logged five innings of one-run ball. Jake Burger tagged him for a solo home run and an RBI single, and Jesus Sanchez added an RBI double to tie the game in the fifth inning. This may have been Holmes' last turn through the rotation, as Atlanta will get Max Fried (forearm) back Sunday and will hope to see Reynaldo Lopez (forearm) return next week. For the season, Holmes has a 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 33:6 K:BB over 33 innings over 12 appearances (two starts).
