Atlanta activated Kim (finger) from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Kim has been shelved since early July with right middle finger inflammation. He's just 5-for-73 (.068) in the majors this season and slashed an underwhelming .216/.355/.353 in 16 rehab contests. Jim Jarvis remains on the active roster and could continue to serve as Atlanta's primary shortstop over Kim.
