Kim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
Kim had started in each of the last four games and seven of the previous nine, going 6-for-21 (.286 average) with one walk, two RBI, one run and one stolen base during that span. The 30-year-old is still slashing an abysmal .113/.204/.124 on the season and may have more work in order before he settling back into an everyday role at shortstop on a longer-term basis.
