Atlanta optioned Karinchak to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
Karinchak has allowed two runs with an 8:5 K:BB over 9.2 frames out of the Atlanta bullpen this season. He'll head back to Gwinnett for now but could get another opportunity later in the year.
