Chapman was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
The left-hander fared much better after being scooped up off waivers from the Astros, but his spring performance still wasn't good enough to land him a spot in Atlanta's bullpen. Chapman's major-league experience could bode well for him if the Braves current relief corps runs into some trouble, but he'll serve as organizational depth until that need arises.
