Cabrera (elbow) was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett, MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports.
Cabrera has the tools to pitch in high-leverage situations one day, but he needs to work on his command, which was an issue even before the ailment. Until he can tune up his control, the hard-throwing right-hander will remain in the minors.
