Cabrera (elbow) will pitch in a rehab assignment Tuesday for Triple-A Gwinnett, MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports.
After that, it's likely that Cabrera will have at least one two-inning appearance before being activated from the 10-day disabled list. The earliest he can rejoin the Braves is May 5 against the Cardinals.
